    2. Participants

All SRP licensed drivers may take part. You can join as single driver, but joining as a two-driver team is highly recommended, in order to be eligible for the teams' championship as well as the drivers' championship. The race direction reserves the right to accept or refuse any application. If a driver is not able to take part in any race, he must give notice 24h before the race start. If this rule is not observed, notification with reason must given within 48h after the race to the race direction, who will decide any further action.

If the grid is not full for any race, reserve entrants may join the grid. They must be SRP licensed drivers. In order to join they have to make a short notice in the appropriate race thread using the following format:

    Entrant:
    Car used from mod:

    3. Registration

To register for the league, you can sign up as an individual driver or as a two-man team. Use the Sign Up thread for that in this format:

    Driver:
Start number: (allowed car numbers are from #1 to #99)

    Team:
    Driver 1 with number:
    Driver 2 with number:

Racing numbers from #2 to #99 maybe chosen, but drivers from season 1 have the priority to choose their last season final place number according the last season standings (#1 is reserved for Andreas Löffler if he chooses to use it):

    2 points for pole position

All the results of the individual classification rounds are taken into account for the rankings at the end of the season. The worst result from every driver will be dropped in the driver championship, but team standings will have all results included. The winner of the SRP Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup season 2 is the driver with the highest total number of points from all the classification rounds.

Beside Overall ranking in single and team championship, there will be rankings for:
    • Sprint races
    • Endurance races
    • Superpole award
    • Best Rookie (drivers who drove no or less than 3 races in season 1)
    8. Protest and appeals

Protests regarding any session of the event must be given at least 1 week after the event at the latest. After that period any unofficial result will become official and will not be changed again.

    Amendment

    - Drivers are prohibited from changing teams during the season to prevent any possible advantage. If a driver decides to leave his team, he would become a single driver for the rest of the season.
    - If a driver leaves a team, he cannot carry the points he has accrued to a new team.
    - If one driver of a team decides to quit, that team may recruit one of the single drivers already competing, or an SRP licensed driver who is not signed up to the league to take over that seat.
