    Forum Rules & Regulations

We have implemented the following guide for using our community forums. This guide is designed to strike a balance between the main goal of our forums, simulator racing and keeping the relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of our community.

We require all technical support questions are issued through the services we provide. Please do not send a private message or email to a staff member requesting technical help. Instead, please use our members for asking race simulator related support questions.

We require all posts to be positive, constructive, and on topic. We may delete individual posts that could ruin a good topic thread.

We reserve the right to remove any topics we deem inappropriate or disruptive to our community.

Having fun is good, we like fun. There are forums for non SRP related topics. Please keep it positive and polite. We do not censor opinions or ideas on our forums but we do take action against posts and/or topics that could cause unrest in the community beyond a civil and polite disagreement.

You may not make personal attacks on other users or staff members either in public forums or private messages.

You may not use profanity. It is unprofessional and offensive and will not be tolerated.

You may not advertise or promote other companies.

We reserve the right to ban any member who violates our guidelines or disrupts our community. We will be fair and provide warning in most cases.

If you have an issue concerning our services, policies, or staff, please use a personal contact method such as a private message or email to a staff member. All moderators, administrators, and support staff are highlighted in the active members list. We take serious complaints to heart and will do our best to address them.

There will be no racial, ethnic, gender based insults or any other personal discriminations.

There will be no posts meant to offend or hurt any other member, in a manner which is offensive or inflammatory.

Spamming is not permitted; please keep all your posts as constructive as possible.

Pornography, Warez, or any other illegal transactions may NOT be linked in any shape or form.

All posts are property of the poster. This forum and all web sites owned in conjunction with this forum have the right to request alteration or deletion of any offensive post. Posts may be deleted for any reasons the forum administrators deem reasonable.

Users may not argue a moderators decision publicly. Any and all complaints directed at a moderator must first address the moderator in question via PM. If the problem can not be resolved, then the moderator and user must send their positions to the forum Admin. The forum Admin will make or change any and/or all final decisions.

Pictures may be posted as long as they are not explicit or offensive. If you plan to post more than one image, or the topic is based on graphics, please link the images rather than screening.

Advertising,commercial-related or competing products are all forbidden in any relation to your account.

Please keep foul language to a minimum, any excessive un-called for language will be removed and you will receive a final warning.

Remember to post in the correct forum. Take your time to look at other topics and see where your topic should go. If your topic is placed in the wrong forum, it will be moved by a moderator. If a topic is recognized as being posted in the wrong forum, or if the post is a violation of our guidelines then please contact a moderator either via PM or the 'inappropriate' feature; please do not respond publicly to the member.

Any impersonation of a user from these forums, in any mode of communication, is strictly prohibited and will result in a banning.

Linked and locked topics are pruned regularly to reduce page clutter.

You may have one username on the board at any one time.

***Violation of any of these rules will result in consequences determined on a case-by-case basis.***

    Race regulations

    1. Be a gentleman: treat each other like you would like to be treated

    2. simracingpro rules are league rules, follow them in everything (penalties, pit stops, pit lane speed etc.).

    3. If you hit a driver resulting in a spin, crash or if the driver goes off track. Then be a sportsman and wait for him on a safe position, and give the driver his place back.

    4. Cutting rules are simulator cutting rules. When you receive a cut warning it means you are out of the track, and gaining advantage. Off track please slow down and merge back on the track with caution. Try to keep two wheels on track at all time. Curbs are a part of the track.

    5. Pressing ESC is allowed, but NEVER press ESC over the racing surface - even after a spin or a crash. Always wait to be completely alone for move the car out of the racing surface, and once with the car stopped in a safe place you can press ESC.

    6. Race with common sense in all the sessions (practice, qualify, warm-up and race). Don't hold up, or block unnecessary during pre race sessions.

    7. When someone is trying to overtake you in a straight, you are allowed to change lines only once. Swerving causes dangerous situation, and most of the time result in crashes.

    8. If a driver is on the inside and has overtaken you in the corner: give him room, follow him, be faster than him, and overtake him in a clean move. Then you are brave… otherwise you made a dirty manoeuvre and he’s probably (and unfairly) out of the race.

    9. Respect the in-game rules, all flags should be respected, and followed.

    10. After the start of the race be very cautious entering Turn 1. This is the hardest part of the race, and can ruin your race before it even has started.

    11. Always use your mirrors.

    12. No chat in race or qualifying, Arguments can be settled after the race. If you want to communicate you can use Team Speak.

    13. Keep teamspeak chat in the official race .channel to a minimum. It's alright to warn for a accident or sudge. SRP Teamspeak allows users to create an own public/private channel.

    14. Are you a victim of an incident? report it to the SRP Crew and we will solve it in the backend

    15. Sign up for an event only when you are going to participate in the race.

    16. Sign up as a "maybe" are put in the reserve list!

    17. Sign out in time if you cannot be present at the event. Do it at least 1 hour before the event.

    18. Always use your real name on our Teamspeak server

    19. Always use your real name when entering our Race servers

Violation of the rules as stated above or drivers reporting you to a race director may result in warning, and risk an amount of license points. When you are banned, you can only return to the single race events by sending a message containing the agreements of the violated rule(s) to a site administrators or race director.
The so-called "Ban till you understand" method.
